Changes in habitual sleep patterns can lead to serious problems such as insomnia, chronic fatigue and stress.

Despite this, scientists confirm that constant disruption of circadian rhythms can be the cause of the development of a number of serious diseases. For example, changing work schedules is associated with an increased risk of cardiovascular disease. According to some studies, workers who work night shifts or have unstable work schedules have a higher risk of developing hypertension, heart attacks and other heart diseases.

In conclusion, although shift work has its advantages and is necessary in many professions, it is also associated with certain health risks. Disruption of circadian rhythms, problems with the cardiovascular and metabolic systems, and psychological consequences are all important aspects that workers and employers must consider in order to ensure health and safety in the workplace.
