Ginger, in turn, reduces inflammation, relieves sore throats and helps lower cholesterol levels, which also has a positive effect on overall health. Finally, it is worth mentioning yogurt, especially yogurt containing live cultures. Probiotics support gut health, which is directly linked to the immune system. When choosing yogurt, you should choose unsweetened options and those enriched with vitamin D, another important element for supporting immunity. Proper nutrition does not guarantee absolute protection from disease, but it significantly increases the body's chances of coping with viruses and bacteria.
