The importance of movement and physical activity is now recognized as one of the key aspects of a healthy lifestyle. However, the question of how much time should be devoted to a daily run remains a subject of debate among sports experts and doctors.

According to the recommendations of the World Health Organization, adults aged 18 to 64 years are recommended at least 150 minutes of moderate physical activity or 75 minutes of vigorous physical activity per week.

However, it is worth taking into account the individual characteristics and physical fitness of each person. Some may feel fatigued after a shorter run, while others can comfortably handle longer workouts.

According to research, the duration of the run also depends on the goals that the athlete sets for himself. For example, to maintain general health, it is enough to run for 30-60 minutes several times a week.

However, if the main goal is to improve physical fitness, increase endurance or prepare for competition, experts recommend increasing the duration of the run to 60-90 minutes, performing it at least three times a week.

In any case, it is important to listen to your body, avoid overtiring and gradually increase the duration of training. Consulting with a professional, such as a doctor or trainer, can also help determine the optimal duration of a run, taking into account individual characteristics and training goals.
