The main sources of vitamin A are animal products, such as liver, eggs, fatty fish and dairy products. In plant products, it is found in the form of beta-carotene (for example, in carrots, pumpkin, spinach), which the body converts into the active form of the vitamin. It is worth remembering that an excess of vitamin A can also be harmful, so its consumption should be balanced.
