In addition to its high vitamin C content, orange juice also contains other beneficial substances: potassium, folic acid, antioxidants and natural sugars that are quickly absorbed by the body. It is important to note that we are talking about freshly squeezed juice, and not packaged drinks from the supermarket, which often contain added sugar and preservatives that reduce the benefits of the product.

Experts advise drinking orange juice in the morning, on an empty stomach or during breakfast, to ensure maximum absorption of vitamin C. In addition, regularly including other foods rich in vitamin C in the diet - such as bell peppers, broccoli, kiwi, strawberries and rose hips - also helps maintain the necessary level of this vitamin.
